please read the following instructions carefully.
Application Instructions:

Time Allocation: Set aside at least 20 minutes of uninterrupted time
to
complete
your application. This timeframe is crucial to provide thoughtful responses and
ensure that all necessary information is accurately provided.

Preparation: Before starting the application, gather all necessary
information,
including your personal details, educational background, work experience, and
any relevant certifications or skills. Having this information at hand will
streamline the process.

Complete All Sections: Ensure that you fill out every section of the
application
form. Incomplete applications cannot be processed and will delay your chances of
securing a position.

Accuracy: Provide accurate and up-to-date information. Any
discrepancies in
your
application may lead to delays or disqualification from the selection process.

Review: Before submitting your application, take the time to review
all your
responses. Check for any spelling or grammatical errors and verify that all
information is correct.

Follow-Up: After submitting your application, you will receive a
confirmation
email. Please keep an eye on your email for any further communications regarding
the status of your application.

1.SELECT PROPERTY(IES)
- Add the properties in which you have a vested interest in navigating to "Property Look Up
under the Menu, then click "+Add Property."

2. FILE FOR A PERMIT

Before entering the application information, ensure you have PDFs of all required documents to
be uploaded with the application you're seeking (see application requirements on our website).

Click "File For A Permit" in the Menu and complete Steps 1-6.

After reviewing your application in Step 5, it will automatically be sent for pre-submission
intake review upon continuing to Step 6 where you will be presented with the option to download
or print your application in PDF format.

3.PRE-SUBMISSION INTAKE REVIEW
- Your application will undergo a cursory review for completeness to verify that the minimum
required information has been provided.
- If the minimum information hasn't been submitted, you'll receive an email indicating which
materials must be provided.

If the minimum information is in place, the Permits Department will email you, instructing you
to submit the Filing Fee and upload the notarized application. The application will be
considered filed once the fee and the notarized application are received.

4.APPLICATION REVIEW
-
After the application is deemed filed, it will undergo a series of internal reviews, depending
on the application, to ensure the plans comply with the Islip Town Code, NYS Uniform Code, and
other municipal regulations.

Applications are processed in the order they are received.
- Do not commence construction until the permit is officially issued.
